The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers

Collaboration With ENO at their Annual Patron’s Dinner

What an evening! We were selected by the English National Opera to design over thirteen different table arrangements for their annual Patrons’ Dinner. We created our designs in our studio and installed the arrangements at their beautiful home in the London Coliseum.

The brief was to decorate each table with different operatic themes and create something truly unique. We took inspiration from the well-loved performances that included ‘The Elixir of Love’, ‘The Magic Flute’ and ‘Madam Butterfly’. There were so many ideas and we loved the whole process. We chose specific colours that matched the opera’s theme. It’s amazing what you can do with flowers! We showcased our designs in a variety of ways and used a range of props to help bring it all together. Furthermore, the table arrangements also smelt divine which made it even more special. We are really proud of the results! To sum up, it was a big achievement for us to have executed this for ENO. This was probably one of our favourite projects to work on because we love the opera.

Have you been to the Coliseum? Do you love opera? We absolutely love the venue and the ENO. To see what’s on, see their programme here.

Our collaboration with ENO was a natural fit. We feel honoured to have supported them again and look forward to working on another event.

We’re happy to share more information about our work for the event so please do not hesitate to get in touch. Similarly, if you would like to learn how to make table arrangements, we have a variety of courses on offer in Covent Garden and Chipping Campden.
