THE COVENT GARDEN ACADEMY OF FLOWERS SPRINGS TO LIFE AT CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW
The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, one of London’s leading floral design schools, is exhibiting at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time.
The Academy will have its first trade presence at the iconic British flower show, which attracts 157,000 people annually, just six months after classes began.
With French armour in place, The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers’ stand will resemble their beautiful store in Covent Garden which opened last November.
Mother and daughter team Gillian and Fleur Wheeler will be at the show, which is open to the public from May 24 to 28, informing visitors of the courses and signature products on offer.
Speaking of the upcoming show Gillian Wheeler, Principal, said: “Attending an event like this is so exciting for us, it gives us the opportunity to talk to people about our love of floral design and share our expertise.
“The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers will also offer creative inspiration to those who want to do more than just grow the beautiful blossoms on display at the show, both on the day and through our range of courses on offer.”
Visitors to The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers stand, which can be found at stand EA-19 on Eastern Avenue, will be able to access exclusive promotions on courses if they book at the show.
The longer professional courses are BACS and Greenwich University accredited, while day and evening courses are also on offer.
The Academy’s courses are popular with those looking to reskill for a new career, or to explore a more informal interest in design.
The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers’ Summer School begins in July and professional courses restart in September for the 2011/12 academic year.
Offering a wide range of courses for beginners to advanced students, there is something for everyone.
